Frequently Asked Questions

Self-learning Pre-recorded Courses

  • What are self-learning courses?

Self-learning courses are a way to practice and improve your fluency by yourself. The courses consist of grammar, language use, and vocabulary exercises. You can complete a series of lessons at your language level to improve all-around skills, such as reading, listening, writing, pronunciation, and more.

Lessons take 5-10 minutes to complete because the primary goal of self-learning is to make practice a habit. If you invest some time into daily practice, you'll adapt to the language and become more successful as a result!

  • What do I need to get started?

Learning with GSourcers is easy and intuitive! To begin, simply choose your course and follow the instructions.

You can start here or create your account first, and then choose the course directly on the platform.

  • How do I navigate the course feed?

Once you choose your course, you'll find a feed with lessons that match your current language level and personal goals.

You will also see a tip pointing at the best lesson to start with. Of course, you can explore the feed yourself and choose other lessons. However, the ones we select should get you to your learning goals faster. It's that, or we just think they'll be the most fun for you :)

Lesson statuses will reflect your progress, so you should always easily navigate the course. You'll always know where you left off, so don't be afraid to explore and scroll a bit ahead. If you feel lost in the feed, just click on the arrow sign on the right side! This will scroll you back to your last completed lesson.

  • How can I learn English in English?

GSourcers offers several courses to help practice English exclusively in English. Full immersion is an important element of language learning. So, if you’re an English learner, you’ll get an option to complete your course without any translations into your native language. You will learn new words and grammar with simple English descriptions. It might be challenging at first, but over time you will learn to recognize the language and understand much more from context.

If you’re a complete beginner, you will get handy flashcards with new English words. This way, you can visually learn from intuitively designed lessons without ever having to translate a single word. We encourage you to try learning this way, but if it’s too difficult, the English course offers 15 popular languages you can use instead.

  • How much time does a lesson take?

We believe that learning languages should be fun, simple, and engaging, so we crafted our lessons according to bite-sized learning methodology. Each lesson takes approximately 3-5 minutes to complete and includes various exercises to efficiently practice your skills.

  • How often do you add new lessons?

Our Content Team updates lessons every 2 weeks. However, the courses already have more than enough lessons for 99.9% of learners. By the time you're done, you're probably fluent to the point where you don't need more lessons anyway :)

  • Which skills can I train?

GSourcers offers different lessons & quizzes that will help strengthen your basics and boost your vocabulary, grammar, listening, and reading skills. You can practice topics for all language levels, whether you're a complete beginner or a highly advanced learner. Our focus is on practical language skills that you can apply in the real world.

  • How do I change the course or add a new one?

To change the course, scroll the page up and then press on the Course Switcher icon. You will see My courses window, showing all courses you’ve added before. By clicking on Add button, you can also add a new course.

1 х 1 Online Tutoring

  • What is an online live and pre-recorded course?

The benefit with taking a pre-recorded online course is that they can be taken at your own pace.

Pre-recorded courses offer a more flexible learning experience. With pre-recorded courses, you can study at your own pace and on your own schedule, making it easier to balance your education with other responsibilities. These courses are also great for those who prefer to work independently or need more time to absorb information.

However, pre-recorded courses lack the real-time interaction and immediate feedback that live virtual learning provides. Additionally, some students may struggle with motivation or accountability when working on their own.
